Thanks to the great efforts of the sponsor China Construction Science and Industry and the generous donation by people from all walks of life since its establishment, Steel Structure Museum has gathered more than 1,000 pieces (sets) of collections, including components, materials and models, tools, books and newspapers, drawings and manuscripts, philatelic products, coins and telephone cards, souvenirs, etc., many of which are rare and unique treasures which witness the development of steel structure industry in China and the world.
The Museum team selected 52 masterpieces from existing collections, interpreted from different angles such as their process of production, the information they convey and the roles they play, compiled and published this book to showcase the current collections and research achievements of the Museum and express gratitude to those who have been lending long-term support to the Museum.
With a total of about 100,000 characters, the book (including Chinese and English versions) is uniquely designed and beautifully bound into the popular 1/16 hardcover, which is appealing to all kinds of readers. The Museum commits to spare no efforts to compile more exquisite books and manuscripts for the audience in future.
