The first prefabricated steel structure residence of Shanghai Construction Group was successfully capped recently. It is located in Xuanqiao Land Parcel 05-02. The development, design and component production and construction were completed by the subordinate enterprise of Shanghai Construction Group, which fully displayed its full industrial chain advantages. For the first time in Shanghai, the residence adopted steel structure as the frame, and precast concrete thermal insulation as external wall.
Such residence has green and environment-friendly construction, good waterproofing performance and other advantages. The building height is 43.6m, the monomer building area is nearly 6,000m2, the total quantities of steel structure construction are about 800t, and the total components are 2,025. Its wall, balcony, bay window, parapet wall, and exterior wall's decorative columns and decoration lines are all prefabricated, with a proportion of 76%, which reaches a new high in the industry.
The Project is the first steel structure residence of prefabricated sandwich thermal insulation external wallboard of Shanghai Construction Group and it is also one of the first batch of pilot projects in Shanghai. There is no successful construction experience for reference. The construction participants give full play to their own strength and constantly optimize the whole process of design and construction, so as to build the Project into a "bridge tower" for promoting the steel structure prefabricated building.
The first prefabricated steel structure residence capped this time is a new product launched by Shanghai Construction Group in the prefabricated residence, which further enriches the "product line" of prefabricated building of Shanghai Construction Group.
